Wasting Time

 Many old folk talk about us young people "wasting time" on our phone. I can safely say that all of us youth talk back saying, "I'm not wasting my time, I'm learning something", or even worse "I'm bored I have nothing else to do". For some people spending at least two hours on the phone is mandatory for their job or for the sake of just communicating with friends. Yet, personally I find those excuses just empty words as well. Why spend two hours texting friends on your phone when a simple ten minute phone call can do justice and make the conversation more meaningful and focused. Or if you're feeling really nostalgic, go ahead and write that special friend a letter. I promise you it is many times more impactful than a "Wyd?". Going into the rest of the week I will make sure that I spend as little time as possible on my phone, and focus on having impactful and meaningful conversations and experiences.
